Welcome to Red Rock Robotics, Team 3006's home page! Red Rock Robotics is a FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) robotics team from West High School in Salt Lake City, Utah. We have participated in the FIRST competition since 2009. In our first year, we proudly earned second place at the Las Vegas regional. This year we will be attending the Utah regional, and we look forward to the national competition in St. Louis.

Mission Statement:

Team 3006 works diligently to teach our members, as well as our community, about science and engineering and its place in the world. We serve to teach our members leadership and technical skills that will be beneficial to them to the rest of their lives. We work to build leadership and cooperation among our members, and to make the FIRST Robotics Competition a wholly memorable and life changing experience.

By working to uphold our mission, and by following our goals, we have had great success in our efforts, attracting a wide variety of students from all grades, as well as a variety of teachers and other mentors. Our members have had great academic success, some of them even making it into extremely prestigious colleges. So far we have the participation of over 30 students in our organization.
